Abstract

General Background: Inclusive education requires adaptive instructional materials to accommodate diverse learning needs. Specific Background: Arabic instruction for elementary students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) faces challenges in vocabulary comprehension and instructional accessibility. Knowledge Gap: Existing modules insufficiently address visual learning support and the specific needs of students with ASD. Aims: This study developed a visual-based Arabic teaching module using the Four-D model. Results: Expert validation reached 88.75% for content and 89% for media, while teacher evaluations achieved 95% feasibility. Novelty: The module integrates accessible language, contextual illustrations, and structured activities for students with ASD. Implications: The module is a feasible alternative for inclusive Arabic education, although its effectiveness in improving learning outcomes requires further evaluation.

Highlights:

  • Subject-matter and media expert assessments reached 88.75% and 89%, respectively.

  • Five educators awarded 190 of 200 possible evaluation points.

  • Differentiated exercises were recommended to accommodate individual abilities.
